I'm seriously thinking about buying a second car for city/work driving. I am looking at a 74k MI 2003 Accord LX coup w/AT -I4. The guys asking 12k for it and I think i'll offer him 11k. Everything's nice cept a little black plastic fading and minor scratches. Anybody think I should get something else? Anybody have any opinions about this model? I need a trip/business car.

You can't go wrong with an Accord. I picked up a 98 4-door recently to have as my "daily driver", which has become my preferred use of transportation 90% of the time. As a car, its roomy, I average 28 mpg, its nearly as quick as my stick GT, and its a hell of a lot more luxurious in terms of convienece features... However as nice as it is, it has no personality whatsoever when driving it- it doesnt evoke any sort of passion when i drive it (its an atuo, so thats expected to a degree). Honestly, the accord you describe would more than likely end up being your fav., and the celi would take the backseat so to speak... I only drive my celi when I want to go "driving" when I have the free time, if that makes sense... I'd say its a great car, so go for it

I have had a 97 4dr SE and a 01 EX coupe. I loved them both, hated to see them go but it was there time.

I want to get a 01 V6 EX coupe this time around, I reccomend the V6 its so much faster.

Why would you do that if you have a Celica/

that's one of the three hondas i'd ever buy. but it'd have to be the v6 one. and the new models look even nicer.

My friend has an 03 Accord. Hes doing a major transformation right now. Im talking about wide..

Hondas are good !
but for 11 K you can get something a little nicer like leather interior, V6 .... I mean probably the same car with more options. but still a good car.
