NJ Adventure<-----Inspired by this post, Jeff and I got to talking and we want to get together a mini meet this Saturday the 27th of May in the evening/night. We're up for an all-nighter with cruising and food if you guys are....MUCH fun to be had, including plenty of cruising and good times to be had as 6gc. Lets shoot for the evening, perhaps around

The Plan:
We meet up along Route 80 near the Water Gap, where theres a 24 hour truckstop with diner and plenty of empty parking lot to meet at. From there, we have within 5 minutes drive MANY great stretches of road in the park to cruise on, a large town where we can chill out and find things to do, great nighttime photo ops and much more. I already have a good idea of where we can go that will make for a really fun trip for everybody.


Directions:
Since most of you will be comming from the East, you just want to hop onto Route 80 Westbound and keep going until you see signs for Exit 4. Take exit 4A and follow signs for TA truckstop, McDonalds, Country Pride restaurant, etc. via Route 94 south. If anybody needs more help with directions, let me know and ill send them to you or give you my phone number so that you can call me if you're confused. Its very very easy to find.

If you're comming from points Westbound, take 80E to Exit 4/Columbia and bear left to head towards MCDonalds and the truck stop on the westbound-side of the highway.



So if you live in or anywhere close to NJ and have no obligations this next Saturday, come out and I assure you all that we'll have a great time. Add your name to the list!!

if im not mistaken, thats a good 4 hour drive for me.....thats a little crazy for one night. Ill look further into it, but if it is, im out.

When i originally jumped in, i thought it would be in Englewood, or that area, not way out in watergap or somthing.

PM replied. Also you can ask Tina how long it took her to get there for the last meet, shes up your way.

The reason I suggested this area is because its got tons of great roads, places to go and chill any time of the night, no cops in the town after 6pm due to a recently revised budget, etc.
Any more east and there tends to be more built up areas and less ability to cruise and do whatever we want without being hassled.

Its all I-80 there, you'll make good time.

109 miles from my house, 2 hours and 13 minutes, i can probally do it in 1hour 30 minutes with my radar detector set to "guardian angel" mode....but thats just dumb lol....we'lll see how things work out. If i do go ill just hang out with Hurley97 for the morning/day, then well both make the trip.

I'm down. Miguel Its the same trip the only difference is instead of going east when you get to Jersey, you'll be going west. It might be a little bit longer. The roads are much better for cruising.

6 PM, Andre. Hope you can make it out again, I had fun our last cruise with the three of us.

Really you can come by later if thats too early for you, thats just when we're meeting up. We'll most likely be in the area the whole night so you can give us a call if you're swinging by later.

EDIT- For anybody who is really concerned with having an exact Mapquest location, use this address although just using my directions on Page 1 will prove to be MUCH easier since Mapquest will give you about 6 steps after yoy get off the exit....really its just as simple as following a barrage of signs.

anyone from lower jersey headin' up because if i dont have work i want to meet up with everyone, just dont want to drive all the way alone, plus it would be nice to have a small group on the way.-3 hour trip for me.

Something has come up. I dont think I'm going to make this one. I'll keep you updated.
