I have a celica st and I was wondering if you use an altrac transmission, will it bolt up to the gt mounts. Also, if I were to do the swap, would I really have to get gt axles in the front?

you couldn't use the all-trac tranny unless you are planning on an all wheel drive conversion which is not easy (also takes big $$) and only 2-3 people have ever done it.

the most common and safest bet is to use a GT tranny with GT axles. Since you have an ST, you would need to use GT motor mounts/brackets with the tranny.
