how do you guys feel about the emange as a tuning option? is this a good option? is it easy to use? does anyone here use it?
Greddy Blue emanage? - 6G Celicas Forums
ive actually been looking into the emanage ultimate, IMO for someone with our basic turbo setups who is looking for more control than the SAFC can give them, i think the emanage or emanage ultimate is a great option.
it does require a higher level of tuning know-how to get the most out of it, but i reallllly think its worth it in hte long run.
for someone who is looking to get the basic fuel/timing control, like the SAFCII + MSD BTM combo, youll spend somewhere around 450-500 getting those 2 new. for another 150, you can get the emanage ultimate, with the harness options, and have MUCH greater control over both fuel and timing, and acsess to lots more off boost and partial throttle driving tuning options, which IMO is the bread and butter of our setups.
IMO setting the WOT portion of a tune is the easy part, as long as your base setup is right.
its everything else that takes the most time, and experience to set properly on a 5sfte/7afte setup.
here are some of the key features of the emanage ultimate:
Product Features
Each maps and settings
Airflow Adjustment
⢠Airflow Adjustment Map : This map is used to adjust the airflow sensor signal to the
ecu for fuel enrichment.
⢠Airflow Output Map : This map is used when eliminating the airflow meter to feed
airflow signal to the ECU by inputting the actual voltage or frequency in the map.
⢠Boost Limiter Cut Setting : This map is used to eliminate the factory boost limiter.
⢠Anti Engine Stall Setting : This map is used to prevent engine stall caused by blow
back to the airflow meter.
Injector Adjustment
⢠Injector Adjustment Map 1&2 : This map is used to adjust the injector signal to trim
and add fuel.
⢠Acceleration I/J Adjustment Map : This map is used to fine tune the fuel enrichment
during acceleration.
⢠Individual Cylinder I/J Adj. Map : This map is used to fine tune each cylinder.
⢠A/F Target Map :This map can automatically set the I/J Adj. Map to meet the inputted
Air/fuel ratio.
⢠Vehicle Speed Adj. Map : This map can be used to fine tune the fuel enrichment at
different speed.
⢠Water Temp Adj. Map : This map can be used to fine tune the fuel enrichment at
different coolant temp.
⢠Intake Temp Adj. Map : This map can be used to fine tune the fuel enrichment at
different Intake temp.
⢠Rev Limiter Cut Setting : This map can be used to change the factory rev limiter.
Ignition Adjustment
⢠Ignition Adjustment Map 1&2: This map is used to adjust the ignition timing.
⢠Acceleration IGN Adj. Map : This map is used to fine tune the ignition timing during
acceleration.
⢠Individual Cylinder IGN Adj. Map : This map is used to fine tune each cylinder.
⢠Ignition Cut Setting : This feature is used to activate an ignition cut at desired rpm.
⢠A/T Shift Adj. Setting : This feature can be used to adjust the ignition timing to
prevent knock during shift up and shift down.
its got ALOT more features than the blue has.
i in particular find the intake temp compensation maps extremly interesting, as well as a few other things it can do.

hey manny what about this.

i know a few supra guys who run this ecu and they swear by it. i noticed it only says 185 and 205. im not sure if it will support our models. Does anyone currently runnign this?
