What is better the USDM steel ct-26, or the JDM ceramic ct-26..

the ceramic spools faster and i THINK gives a lil' more power but the steel is alot more durable

pics of couple ceramics blowing up at high boost. but people say you can have strong ones or old worn ones. no clue.

i'm also wondering, cause i have both sitting in my garage right now.
Journal for my 3SGTE swapPosting and asking qns here for my 3SGTE swapRegular on ToyotaTuners, no long on TNLurker on celictech for my 3SGTE swapTrying to sell stuff on alltrac.netTime will tell that it is a mistake to replace the F-14 Tomcat with the F-18 Super Hornet as the carriers first line of defense.

the ceramic turbine '26 will spool typicly abit sooner, although there is debate about it being more fragile than the steel counterpart.
IMO i doubt one would just "shatter" for no apparent reason, but if for some reason somthing was to come in contact with it...well...i think you can use your own imagination from there...lol
+1 for whatever turbo of the 2 is in better overall condition.

turbo has a warning label on it, "dont insert finger, or anything thing your imagination could come up with, in here! LoL" (And it has LoL on the label)

aaagogo, i agree with you sig about the f-14, my favorite plane ever, got to touch one at MAPS which i voulenteer at.
