Got my ass whupped by a Honda - 6G Celicas Forums

Some guy in a kinda nice civic was messing with me. His hot girlfriend was already
checking out my car, and I told the kids I had nothing to prove. For some dumbass
reason I decided to go for it, and got pulled through every gear. My kids won't let
me live it down. Where do I go from here? kindasad.gif

Edit: I backed out at about 65 mph.

OFF TOPIC: i love kids, my lil cousin who is 4 loves my car, yesterday when i babysat he said "Tinabell your car is SO shiny, i bet it even FEELS shiny" so cute. Then the kids were playing video games and my cousins pull out Grand Turismo and show me that they use my car all the time and make it red. I was like oh i love these kids, if they only knew i could run faster then my car... lol.

getting beat by a honda? hmmm i used have the same problem about 2yrs ago. dosnt happen anymore for some reason.

I'm a moron. I backed out at 65mph 4 lane hyway from a rolling
start, I didn't see any real Danger. It's a stock ST for gods sake.
I also bought my kids dirt bikes, talk about danger.

I agree with Mynzeyes, BUT, this forum isn't for that kinda talk. Everybody has heard that same statement from everybody and there dog. So, lets just keep with the immediate convo. and have a good time. It's alright that a honda beat you, just blame it on the extra weight, your kids, hahaha

Good point Spunky. Keep your opinions to yourself. Especially if you don't have kids and have your own damn problems.

P.S. my two year old son loves to go fast and calls the Celica the "VOOM VOOM!"

lol aah back in the stock ST days....thank god those are over

but on a side note

dirt bikes rule....i love racin them but damn near killed myself a few times while doing it...

a honda hasnt pulled on me since i got the Z.....fixed that problem....now gotta look at taking care of vettes

I dont think you can endanger someone with "racing" a ST...thats like driving most cars normal smile.gif

Isn't that sad? When I drive normal people'd think who's that grandpa in the Celica... when I push the car people'd think I drive normal, but why exhaust so loud..
