I think I have called my celica "my baby" for the past 4+ years bc...
I'm always apologizing to her for every pothole I can't miss "I didn't mean to hurt you baby" or when i apologize about the rust "It's barely noticeable baby, youre still beautiful"
I always pet her when I get done driving fast saying "thanks baby for the good time"
I have to tell her every morning in the winter "baby, please start" and when i get through a snow storm I tell her she did a great job
And one time on the highway when I locked up the brakes on her I said "thanks for stopping, and I rubbed the dash"
My ex gf one time said I cared more about my car then her... (she was pissed bc i swerved to miss a pothole and that meant I "cared more about hurting my car than her feelings") and it was true but I had to explain to her that I've been through so much with my baby that I can't treat her wrong even though shes older then she was before.
