hey, i painted my rear view mirror, then i put it back on and now i cant get it to tighten up so its just dangling there!, how do i tighten it???!?@? 94 celica gt, its stock rear view mirror

did you take that screw out from the back? Cuz theres like a special angle it goes in at, and its damn near impossible to get it back in like that, someone should put a disclaimer on the back of the mirror saying not to remove that screw lol. I spent like 2 hrs one day trying to get that screw back in, but something in there just doesnt work.
