help with installing Invader Front Bumper - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #36041 6 posts Started by LimitedST
For some silly reason, i cant get it to line up at all. i can get it close but it still sticks out about 3 - 5 inches away from the head lights where the circles are cut. I almost almost 100% positive its that front bar thats like a 5 mph safety crash thingy. but my dad wont let me remove it and he wants to cut the bumper to fit. and i know if he cuts it it wont look right. he also wants to ccut the bottom part of it the big air dam for the radiator / intercooler but i dont think u need to.
so if anyone who has installed a invader front end plz tell me how to do it and if i need to remove that front bar. ge doesnt want to remove it cuz he thinks its for the air bag or sumthing.,

sorery for bad typing . only used 1 hand cuz i burnbed myself pretty bad today at school and yeah

hmm didnt need to cut and it fits perfectly.

i dont have fog lights. so i took the fog light brackets off the crash bar. and it fits 100% perfectly.

now the only thing im having trouble with is my type z rear lip. it seems to be alittle short on one side. i can get it almost 100% on on 1 side, but while lining the other side up, its about a inch off of the back fender. ill take pics later after work to show u what imean. smile.gif
the rear sounds warped..heat er up with a heat gun and move it into place CAREFULLY
