Does anyone know how to stop that bell noise when you leave the keys in the ignition
and open the drivers door?
i find this really anoying and a pointless noise that gets on
me and my passangers nerves all the time

It would be a great help to me if someone could shed some light
as im not even sure where its coming from.

PM WannabeGT4 he has just about every celica wiring diagram know to man.

if you want to get rid of it you need to remove the panels below your steering colum and the trim around the steering wheel, along with the trim around the ignition lock

like this minus the center consol
now in this next picture you see the ignition lock cylinder..follow it towards the dash and you see a black wire hanging down with a white "socket" type thing on the end (you can see it just above the brake pedal in the picture...this is wat makes the noise...on your car it will be screwed into the ignition lock cylinder on the bottom of it..just unscrew and zip tie outta the way and no more ding
