Damn Madmods!
Well I've spent a fortune on my car too,
and it looks pretty much standard.
I've spent close to $AUS7,500, could be more.
Thats not including the Varis Arising II bodykit ($3000)
and maintenance.
It hurts to look back and work out how much you spent
on your car. But I dont mind spending money on something
I enjoy and love smile.gif

cause i already have a 2nd car.....that and the G35 doesn't float my boat too much
the 1.8T leather interior heated seat jetta fits my daily driving needs quite nicely....
imo better then a rodio wink.gif
JDM tails $350
Projectors $759
C-one replica Front
404 Sides and rear $535
Zyclone CF hood $635
Rims and tires $900
Brembo cross drilled rotors $220
TWM Short shifter $180
Riser blocks $180
2-post spoiler $80
Tons of other things. I'm guessing all together excluding the cost of the
car is about $8,500.

I wasnt talking second car, I was referring to the extraordinary amount of money ur spending on a celica when you can easily buy a much nicer car, but w/e if you wanna take shots at 2nd cars like an immature lil kid then go for it, but no matter what you say I still didnt spend 30K on a Celica and prop my 1.8T on a pedestal when it got spanked by the Streetzking.

laugh.gif omg where is streetz with the link?

Buy my Celica $2,500 -http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0
$15k plus on mods. Not a sound investment but definitely a fun hobby.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
lost track a long time ago....

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
car 500$
shipping 380$
marks 3sgte, wiring harness, transmission, etc 1700$
intercooler and piping 600$
airbags and sensors 200$
doors with power windows + wiring harness 200$
rear brake conversion 200$
misc swap stuff (power steering pulley motor mounts, etc, about 500$)
front bumper 100$

im missing some stuff in there, but total ive spent about 4700$ for a swapped celica, not running right yet, but nothing major is wrong so i assume only about 100 more and shell be perfect.
2 much....... in us dollars i estimate with the buying of the car i am more than 43.000.... and i have a long road ahead!!!
Some one call a doctor!!! We all need to find a medicine from this damn mod Illness!!!!!!!!!!!

Way too much to count.... on my ST

and about 4000$ on my SSIII already and im not even driving it YET!!!!! God damn..... and all these 4K went on the mods only..... not counting all the shiznit i will walk on the RHD/LHD swap..

its hobby you should know that just about as well as the next person on here...there really isn't a point in spending money modifing cars..it yeilds no investment or gain on return it just eats money and depreciates with the more you put into it.. its about the pure satisfaction and joy in doing something you love...and i didn't pedestal the jetta i mearly said it will do just fine...and yea nick beat me in a 1/10th mile race it was impressive..you over it yet? it wasn't that incredible
I guess I draw the line a lil lower than 30k is all.

And no, I'm not over it yet. Wheres the vid, Nick?
