Well the 99 GT we just bought has the 8 speaker set up. The previous owner did some things with it, including disconnecting the rear speakers, and then throwing some crap speakers in the front 6. I have a Pioneer amp powering the sub (Infinity Perfect or whatever) right now, but i think i need something more powerful...just looking for some ideas on what kinda set up to go with... I was thinking components in the front (8 in comp?)...thats all i got. lol.

when i had that sytem i was going to run the following:

6.5 inch components in the front woofer + tweeter slots powered by a 2 channel amp

4" speakers in the midrange spots (powered by headunit)

6.5" in rear powered by head unit

2 12" in the trunk powered by a mono amp
