...why do you need a guage in your 6GC? what mods has been done to it so far?
why dont you just hook it up to the o2 sensor off the exhaust manifold? thats what i did and it works great
i did hook it up to the o2 wire sensor but some how there is no more power.. did i burn that air fuel ratio guage? anyone know?
LOL. I hope you didn't connect it between the O2 Sensor and the connector...cuz that's wrong. There's a connector a few inches up...after that's it's a single shielded wire. Splice into that one.

Also, make sure your power wire and ground wire are correctly spliced...just check all connections. Mine worked right away. What kind did you get? I want the AutoMeter one but couldn't fork up the dough...so I got some cheapie from AutoZone...works nicely though.

i hooked mine up to the exhaust manifold and it works fine. i have had it for two years w/o a problem. to see if you broke it, just take your power wire to the battery and your ground wire to the ground on your battery. if the led lights up, then it is fine. if it doesnt light up, it might be broke. i dont know to much about electronics, and theres probably a smarter (or more technical) way to do this, but that works for me. -Dan
OK. Well, it won't work. At least mine doesn't work like that. you need a voltage reading on that wire that gos to the O2 sensor wire to get the LEDs to light up.
