Paint Jobs - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #35077 18 posts Started by Mike
After browsing through many topics I thought it would be helpful to start a thread on paintjobs.. seems like there are a lot of questions, so if you've gotten your 6gc painted, please contribute

Tell us:

1. Where you got it painted
2. What exactly was painted
3. How much did it cost
4. If you are satisfied or not

Much Thanks in advance

i can see this thread being pretty helpful cuz, i myself have been looking for some 6gc paintjobs
I got mine painted at Massive Autobody, its in north york. I wouldnt suggest them. I paid $2000, they didnt add flex agent into the bumper, they got over spray on my rear window, drivers side rear window, and i have about 10 vissible runs. If you wanna get your car painted for cheap and get them to do a good job. Go to 427 Autobody on Kipling and Evans just off the QEW/427. Super good guys, good prices, amazing work. And if you dont care about $ and you willing to wait. CFD on Martingrove in woodbridge. They are rediculus. Ive seen a EG civic they did for raceworld.ca and they painted the roof with a 3D carbon fiber effect. It actually looks like CF.
I took mine to Earl Schieb and they did a quick exterior job, no jams or bay or anything. It only cost me 400 including a warranty.
For the price i paid, i am very satisfied... if your looking for a show quality job or something like, i wouldnt recommend these guys. But they are very reliable and honest guys. They showed me where they messed up, but i didnt have the time for them to fix it. Good guys.

I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club!
um i did mine, it was cheap but i didn't have to pay for labor. I paint cars so if your around my area hit me up and i can give you a quote on what you want done. ****just as a plus. all cars that come out of my shop are show quality, nothing less will pass for me, and if your paying for a paint job your gonna get one worth showing *wink**wink*
Xtreme Paint and Body
OEM white w/ blue pearl
Kit fitted, dents removed, primed, prepped, and covered for paint
$1900
Really satisfied. Job was greatly done.

I've got quotes anywhere from $1,500 - $5,000+ for a plain black metalic paint over my car that's currently teal
