celicagurl use to have a red-black two tone, but it was a little busier then some of the two-tone ideas im sure your thinking of...Others have done a cf hatch...i know a couple people were wating to carbon fiber their roof, hatch and hood, and that would be pretty close. Its hard to do a two-tone cuz of the lines along the celica...im getting a silver and black paint job done once i get my new bumper in, and ill post some pics.

a two tone is very EASY on a celica...the lines are all there to do it...

the bottom of the front a pillars are dead even with the window bottoms which flow straight into the rear quarter panel rear C pillar transition making a near perfect horizontal line across the entire side

yea your right... i was thinking about the front pillars and right there with the fender and that lil junction, and then the rear hatch...would you paint the area at the hatch where the emblems are, black? or leave it silver with the rest of the car?...but i guess when i think about around the windows, your right.

Im trying to figure out what i should do with the hood to bring it all together, Cuz ill have the roof and hatch and pillars black...im thinking i should do something.

The only 2 tone that I liked was Romas old Celica.
Silver with black top.
Here is another silver and black 2 tone on an MR2.

lol i might let YOU know by this weekend muhahahah!
my anteanea hole might be getting filled in as well ( no paint on it though:()
what kind of paint will you be using for the flatblack? I think I am going to use some DP90. we have used it on a camaro front end, some running boards and some chasis restoration stuff and it looks pretty damn good...but its like $45 for a quart!! and i think it is polyester so it has a lil tube of hardener(kinda like fiberglass resin hardener) i hope it covers red well

That green and black will be hot. b1gred are you going with a red and black? Ima do a dark silver and black. and not a flat black, ima do a black with a silver speck to kinda make it blend with the silver.

prob wetsanding with 2000grit and buffing, followed by some sort of glaze and HOPEFULLY some wax for protection

you don't really need to even sand for a shine like that, sanding is more for scratch removal. I would recommend buffing with a foam pad and light abrasive polish, then using an orbital buffer with polishing wax, then a Carnuba wax, that stuff is the shiniest.
