Backstory: my family has been buying toyotas from this toyota dealership since forever. I think we have bought five diff. toyotas from them by now.

the deal: They have a 97 corolla with like 70000 miles and are trying to sell it for like $6,999.

the question: whats the lowest price you think we could get them to lower it to? Keep in mind that we have been very loyal to them and they know this because we always use the same people. Also, we do most of our service with them. Bottom line, they know us fairly well. When i bought my celica from A DIFFERENT dealership, they wanted 6999 and i got them to lower it to 5800 from people that didnt even know me, AND without a trade in. Im thinking $5000.

seems kinda of pricey for a corolla. they should give u guys a discount since u guys are frequent customers.

Yeah, ask them about some sort of Loyalty discount. They'll say you get one until you actually get down with some numbers, then remind them again. You might be able to get them down to somewhere around 5000 if you work some angles. Possibly lower?

5000 if its mint, 4500 if theres a few flaws
