Well, there are some preventative measures to discourage image theft, but in the end they tend to make real, honest visitors angry(because they can't save them to their computer for use later or whatever) and do little to prevent people from stealing images for their own websites(because they often know tricks to get the images anyway.)

New Toyota project coming soon...
I'd say go ahead and add the text for the simple fact that it could bring more ppl to the forum. I personally wouldn't have known about the site if someone wouldn't have sent me a message thru ebay after I bought my body kit. Just don't expect it to stop the steal thou.

BTW I like both smile.gif

I like the second one as well... and if you're gonna use the first one I think the opacity should be reduced a little bit.

I like the stamp idea too... But am I the only person that likes the 6gc logo with the g going under the 6... The my opinion. But they both are g0000d.

Yet
well if its not gonna stop others from using your guys pics, theres no point of the stamp really now is there..other than aesthetic value

Your last option, something that doesnt really disrupt the picture and is transparent to a certain degree.

Why is it a big deal if someone steals a picture?

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
Yep, last night I started the process of going through every member profile image and editing them to include the watermark. I let it run all night since it took a long time, but all images should have the watermark now.

I can see the watermark on jgreening's picture just fine. Perhaps you need to shift-refresh the page or clear your cache.

New Toyota project coming soon...
nice, i just noticed them. makes my car pics look 10 times sexier.
