Thank god for non-interference engines.
I assume it was either an
A. defective belt
or
B. not installed properly,
as it only had 25,000 miles on it.
You guys think I should take it back to the mechanic that did it and demand he fix it for free? That would present a towing issue, granted, as he's an hour away; whereas there's another shop at the bottom of my block that I could literally push the car to.
At least I know why my car is not starting now.
