well i have a problem as follows:

i was on vacations and my mother used my car...the thing is that she left the dor badly closed...well battery drained....and my moms boyfriend looks like he conected the battery in the wrong way (+ with - and - with +)

well i arrrived at home...car didnt start...2 fuses burned the ecu and another one...i replaced them...ok car starts....now....no repeating lights...no tacometer (rpm meter)..cant change shift (automatic), breake is hard, no error on instrument panel....no radio...no air sistem, no difroster, no cig...no automatic windows...no sunroof....no alarm...no automated door closing...so all i can do is turn on engine..acelerate, and turn on lights...

im really sad and i dunno what the problem could be...anyone with experience that could help would be greatly apreciated...im really sad

have you checked all your fuses? we've got quite a few boxes scattered around a few here and a few there from what i can remember

yes, they are all ok as i can see, i replaced the 2 burned fuses, but anyway for being sure im gonna rebuy all fuses to have a new set on both fuse boxes tomorrow, any tip on resetting the computer? ty
(btw i dont even kno where the computer is located)

there are the 2 fuse boxes under the hood, and one inside the car check them all, and the computer is located behind where the radio on the firewall

oooo yeah something liek this happened in my rav4, popped a fuse, i think its something dome or sumthin, you should check all your fuses out

the fuses are there to protect the ecu from this type of thing. buy a little fuse tester and use it to test them all one by one. im sure youll find more then one blown

ya go to autozone and buy a fuse kit it comes with a bunch of fuses and a fuse tester and is only $10

no autozone here, but i bought a full fuse reeplacement and i could got it working, old fuses looked ok but i reeplaced em all and got it working , weeeeeeee im back on the streets again, ty a lot all
