Cause the 9006 bulbs don't fit anymore. How did you convert it to H1???

cut the 9006 plug off, and solder in a H3 plug, which works for the H1 bulb.

does the high beams still use 9004? or is it h1 too?

the high beams use the old bulbs, the lows get a H3 connector, with a H1 bulb.
the "marker" lights use a 194 socket and bulb. i spliced into my sidemarkers for power for them.
