less than half an hour ago my alarm goes off and i hear some guy speed off...so i go outside to check, turns out some guy scraped my driver side door/fender and managed to rip off the entire front lip. did i mention my car was parked?

My car also got hit while it was parked. It happened like 6 months ago. Dented the center piece in the back here the plate sits.
that sucks for both you guys. i kinda freaked out last night cuz i noticed my alarm was going off. but there was no damage (as far as i could see in the dark). i'm guessing it was some car with a loud exhaust or what-not that i heard passing by at the time.

Yeah. I've been nailed twice since I bought mine in September of '05. Both minor, but still instantly noticable.
My car was parked and it got rear ended where it smashed the tailight.....two weeks ago.
My car was parked again, and last week my mom rear ended the drivers side rear wheel.
Total damages= More than what the car costs now......the first one Insurance pays 4. The second....No luck, cause its family.....

the guy is claiming that I ran into him.
i'm not even sure if this is worth reporting to the insurance company. This isn't a 100% win situation; he might end up wining the case and i have to pay for damage.
