I was just wondering what CD players you guys out there have. I'm planning on replacing my stock one when I install my new speakers. Just looking for some options & suggestions.

I just put in my new Alpine 9815 and I love it!!!! It's definitely a bit pricey but man is it sweet. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a head unit that has A LOT of features. It plays MP3s, CDRs and CDRWs. Navigating through the MP3 files is relatively fast and easy. If you want to know more about the features go to Alpine's web site and check it out. You can even download the manuals for all the Alpine products.

My advice is to take your time and look around the internet to see what's out there. Make a list of what features are important to you and go from there. Again, download the manuals if you can and read up on all that each unit can do.

Have fun looking and enjoy the process of finding the unit that you like best. No one enjoys spending money ( well, except for women ) but try to enjoy the process using all the resources you have(reviews, forums, etc.)

I just ordered a Sony CDX-MP40 for my car, I'll let you know how it is when I get it installed next week.

I got a Clarion DXZ735MP MP3 Player and it rules. I love it, never skips, easy install, sweet options, and its kinda fun to have color changes to match your interior >> Runs around $400 but well worth it. Either that or get an Eclipse!!!!!

i use my sony portable cd player with the tape deck attatchment....but only cause im too poor to buy a cd player right now

I'm thinking of getting one of the top of the line Pioneer ones, they have good features and look really nice. Back in the motherland everybody had the same cd player except for Stalin.

I've got a pioneer... My bro's car has a kenwood. I'm not a huge fan of pioneer to say the least... I might go for something else. I'm gunna get a kenwood or a sony as soon as I can afford it.

I always hear people complaining about Sony's quality with their automotive products. I really like Sony but I've never really seen any of their car stuff so I can't say for sure...

Im not a big fan of Sony car stereo products......i hate the way the buttons beep when you push them too, its kinda obnoxious, and looks-wise i've never been impressed by them. I think that the new restyled Panasonics are excellent headunits, and ive talked to people with them that love them....they have such awesome graphic displays too. Alpine, Pioneer, and Clarion are good, all pretty nice interfaces with great sound and look sharp.

I have a Sony Xplod. Its not all that bad but I kinda want to get a better one

ya i got a premier DEH-740mp and i love that deck the only thing i find with them is they seem to take longer to load the mp3s.
