Did anyone ever tried Initial D Ver.3 Arcade yet?

i'm just a curious person..since i'm in a 6GC club...i just well tell you that i'm driving a Toyota Celica GT-Four in Initial D and it's very awesome i would say....i'm just drifting my way through the downhill mountain course!

still practicing to go faster and get better timing on it. The best time i got so far in Akagi Mountain course is 2min & 52sec.

it's just a thought i would like to share everyone on this! give it a try!

ill admit i played for so long, took like 100$ outta me one week haha so addicting, still got all my cards, i have a evo7, AE86, buntas WRX (secret) and my s14 silvia which is almost fully hooked

play it every weekend when i go play pool. i am not good at ID tho. play it cause i can drive a gt-four

from initial D ver. 2 to 3, I used my celica. Im sure I spent over $300 on it total.

That game is soo addicting! haha i was doing really good but i cant seem to beat this r32, and then one time i was winning and the some guy comes in and challanges me in his super fast r34 and i find out that he runs the arcade and i think he was mad that i beat his Celica GT4 earlier that day with mine haha. Yeah so long story short, i lost and i didnt play for awhile and now i suck again haha. Anybody here play Maximum tune or even heard of it? haha. I have an MK4 supra in that game, and its is super sexy black =).

Heh..even though i lost to someone that suited up there car...that just motivates me to practice more harder and kill my money more...

but worth the fun!

I love that game. I've gotta heavilly modded s15. I almost won a local tournament at a car shop. A heard a "rumor" that the best car to use for a couple of the tracks was the suzuki cappicino. The cars you used had to be stock. And that ended up screwing me. I did get good time on the first coarse, which was good enough for the best time out of everyone. 60 some ppl I think. I know... i got mad skill.

I have 2 gt4's in initial d as well as an integra type r, a miata, an s14. Its pretty addictive but i dont play much anymore.

i use left foot braking like a mother on that game, always helped me drift instead of switching from gas to brake, so much fun though

edit:: isnt maximum tune the one with the clutch? if so i played it a while back at an arcade used the gt-4 haha awesome game but doesnt look as good as initial d

yah i also play initial d ver. 3 in the arcades. ive got a fully tuned mr2 (i will challenge anyone here in iro with this ) and a gt4 thats just a "little" tuned. lol i love the mr2 in this game...so damn slow at higher speeds but handles like a dream in the twisty stages

I dont use the footbrake much at all, just downshift and quickly shift back up while going aroudn a turn. Instant sidewaysness... lol

ah the eraser (wow i am a nerd! lol) yah thats what i do sometimes when my mr2 doesnt turn fast enough...but usually i dont need to since its so nice in handling! and also i wunna add that the gt4 in this game is the only awd car that drifts *nerd status rising* LOL

played it in winter of 2004 in asia. played it every other day at the mall for about an hour long.. talk about affordeable arcades! anyway, i'm 80% done the game driving a black ST205 auto. i started playing it again recently at a cinema that has it but they disabled the card feature (due to it breaking down all the time).

my favorite course is Irohazaka downhill against the blue SW20. man is that ever FUN!

here's a rumor i heard: (for canadians) there's a korean coin that's equivalent to a canadian quarter that's worth about 10 cents.. apparently it supposed to work in most coin operated machines (initial D!)
anybody here korean who know which coin i'm talking about?

lol it always seemed like EVERYBODIES car pulled faster than my st205 haha idk, maybe i just cant launch haha.
