Hey everyone. My hair will all be cut off tommorow evening. Down to 1/8th inch I believe. I am on the varsity basketball team one of our fellow seniors has a brother who developed massive brain tumors recently. His parents have mainly had to stay at the hospital and have lost a lot of money, plus bills. Well two weeks ago the basketball team decided it was time to step up. Our school is only 610 kids in grades 9-12. Well we made a goal of $7,000 for two weeks. As of today we were $300 short and have a day of donations left plus a two hour auction and dinner. Once we surpass the $7,000 mark the junior varsity, varsity, and coaching staff will be buzzing our heads. It was a great community incentive and people really snagged well on the idea.... I will post a before and after pic tommorow. Thanks guys and gals for reading

no no no.... no BIC.... 1/8th of an inch is what it's going to be I believe.. some of the coaching staff wants to go longer... but the ball players kinda made the decision for everyone.... Also despite being past the $9,000 mark, we are having a dinner tonight and an auction for over two hours... All proceeds from that will also go towards it. We established a new goal of $12,000 last night... I hope we get it....

I also never gel my hair up. That was an after shower pic that i took, and I usually leave my hair shorter, just short enough to still gel and look "preppy" not ne more though

Dustin, GREAT work on raising all that money. For a school that is as small as yours, you guys did a fantastic job. My hat is off to you, and hopefully your friends brother will come out okay. Great job on the fundraising, I am positive that his family is overjoyed.

dang, all she did was say there was some hot guys. sure its a bit childish considering the context, but i dont see why you got so upset.

great job raising the money, reminds me whens one of my ex's cut her hair really short to donate it to kids with leukemia. i missed her long hair but i give her credit to do that, and to everybody who participates in charity. sometimes its easy to forget how lucky we are. keep it up dustin .
