Hey ok my friend is putting a turbo on his ST and we were wondering what tranny to use if we wanted to convert to manual? Would the tranny from a celica GT work?

Will not work! You can use a Levin AE101 Tranny from the 4age silvertops, but a GT will not even fit. I suggest you guys use a higer stage clutch with a light flywheel, something that will support the turbo boost. Using stock will kill the clutch within 1 week of abusive use and no a 3sgte tranny will not work either!

Why not just use the stock 7A tranny? It is the C52 also found in Corollas.
