i was just wondering what the downside to leaving a cel on. my car threw a cel for a failing egr. dont wanna fix until next time i need to smog (in about 2 years). is there any power loss in leaving your cel on? or is it just the annoyance of having the light there?

If its nothing to big like that, and doesn't do much harm to the motor, then it is just the annoyance of it being on.
