i just bored at work and i wondering if im the only dad here. i was 16 when my little one was born, now she is 2. having a kid is like having another car, $$$$$$$$ but i still love her more than anything, she is my world and i pray everyday God brings nothin to her but blessings.

i have a son.

4yrs old now.

I have 2 Boys, Brad 13, and Nick 9. I get them every other weekend.
They are my life. Its really hard to be away from them all the time.
I just try to teach them as much as I can when I have them.
We have fun, BMX racing and motorcycling.
I love sports seasons when they play I see them a few nights
a week.

I'm glad a lot of you have good standings with your children. I have not talked to my father in.. let's see.. 5 years. I stopped the "weekend visitations" when he started drinking way too much around me.. and beating my step-mom.

I'm glad I got away from that.

im not a father, but i am a god father. My life long friend Melanie got knocked up by some guy at a party who took advantage of her while she was drunk. 9 months later, she has a son. Hez about 1 now and is the cutest kid ever. His name is Kai and since the father was dark skinned and my friend was white, he pretty much looks like hez tanned all the time. Ill see if i can get some pics of him on here soon.

97lestyousay, have u ever tried to get more time with your kids, like a weekday or like every tuesday and every other thrusday on the weeks were u dont see them that weekend. that way u dont go long periods of time w/o seen u. ive been in all this mess, now im fightin for full custody. its a lot of money but they are worth it.

hehe my daughter is prolly only a year or 2 younger than some of you here..

I rarely even call them during the week. It is a real pain, pleasure, seeing
them. I love being with them and talking to them, but it hurts so much when they
are gone its hard to cope. They are sleeping now. Tommorow I am going fishing with
them. The more fun we have together the more it hurts when they are gone.
I love watching them do sports so much I just deal. Kinda hard to describe this in words.

97lestyousay, i understand what u are sayin 110%, i had the same thing when my little one was 2-3 months old. for now i have temporary full custudy but i still have a couple of hearing left to go to. the good thing about u is that ur kids are older and can speak for themselves. if they want to live with you they can, as long as u have a good "plan" u can have more time with them or even live with them. im not tryin to talk u into doin something, im just sayin i got tired of feeling on not bein able to see my girl and fought for more time and now that the mom really screwed up so im goin for full custody.
the court system we have is really unfair, its totaly promom. but ive deciede not to let the system keep me from the girls life, if i have to go to the supreme court so be it!!

I am trying to buy a house and when that day finally comes,
the courts will decide my boys fate too. My ex wife and her new husband
are doing a good job from what I see, and I don't want to disrupt the kids lives.
I feel I know way more about certain areas than the ex and stepfather.
So I just try to teach them what I know. I really sucks to be me sometimes.

im in the same boat as u man.
i get to see my son on wednesdays from noon to 5, sundays from noon to 7 and every other sunday i get him from sunday at 6pm to 10 am monday.

once i get my house im gonna get this changed, hopefully.
