My friend was a naruto fan / ninja fan so I gave him a set of Nartuo knives. It did the trick.
On this one girls birthday I didn't know what she liked, nor did I know what she want....So I gave her a bottle of RUM. It did the trick and it was under $10 bucks. Nothing expresses there joy more than a bottle of 151

i already gave her something that she like and she says she loved it. we likes this one band so i bought her the cd... and this one other stuff. im running out of ideas

what cd??


umm i say take her out to dinner! its still something a friend would do so it doesnt come off all like you like her!

i personally wouldnt want any girly crap unless i asked for it cuz it just gets wasted.

hmmm im trying to think what id want from a guy friend who may have a crush on me and id definetly want him to take me to dinner! or do something fun like a day of being a tourist around a nearby city even though ive been there a billion times! id rather have memories with a goodfriend then crap given to me by them

buy her a rose for every year she has lived and like a teddy bear with a candy box on it, maybe as singing birthday bear. and take her out to a nice dinner.

haha its books about these group of girls who do babysitting but i mean its a good thought but flowers, teddy bear thats too valentines day - hallmark like!

just my .02 ..im sure girls on here would appreciate that but i think flowers are a waste and teddy bears get thrown away eventually. thats why i say memories are the best

how did i miss this?? YESSSSS i need an excuse to get dressed up- i found this cute red dress and i need it, and red shoes... and i have no where to wear this stuff. Prob for valentines day... errr by myself. hahaha

sorry- back on topic- Get her a nice picture frame with a pic of the two of you in it? I like the out to dinner idea. Some place new or to a resturant you know she loves. Flowers are always nice- women love flowers.

she's goign to a coldplay concert on her brithday... so i asked her out to sushi before her birthday. hopefully it's not wiht another guy =( haha o well. it's worht a shot

"eating buddy"??? Dude, you're screwed, if you're too close of a friend it'll make the transition so much more difficult.

Oh, and don't spend alot of money... that will also scare her off.

Right now u have a choice, either crack a joke to lighten the mood, or you can be serious and just tell her. The joke i personally like is, "I'm pregnant with your baby." Or make something up for yourself.

You: "i like u" (DONT SAY LOVE)
her: "i like u too" (she'll most likly mean friends, so interupt her)
you: "no, not as friends, i wanna be more. Ive been watching you from afar for quite sometime now and only recently have i gotten the courage to tell you how i really feel. The way the sun radiates off your hair, how your eyes are like pools into my soul....etc" (say something that really expresses how u feel, dont lie or "stretch the truth")

So u know though, im still single, and havnt had the best luck with women/girls, so just keep that in mind.

because that's not a good thing to say to a woman- I've been watching you from afar- Nat is right it sound like a stalker thing to say.
If a man told me something about how my eyes are like pools into his soul idk if i would laugh or try to run away.

Now that I have a few min on my lovely lunch break (where I get to consume 2 tablespoons of low sodium peanut butter and a small apple: rollseyes: I <3 my diet ) The transition from friends to a significant other can be very tricky. My experience with it has not been fabulous to say the least. A friend of mine in high school whom I used to talk to all the time and have a good amount of mutual friends with started getting close to me. We were close even when I had a boyfriend. When we broke up I took it very hard and he was there for me through a lot of it. Blah blah blah, we talked a lot and spent a lot of time together. We ended up dating for a while and it was awful, because we broke up and things aren't how they used to be. I think even know if I had some interest in a close friend I would be very very hesitant to act on it. I just think the changeover from friends to "lovers" is a touchy subject.
