There seems to be two wires coming off the positive terminal of the battery


I am assuming that the thing one goes to a fuse box and the thicker cable goes to the starter motor? Any chance the thicker cable can be rewired or should I just use a cable joiner to lengten the cable

Just having problems with my Optima battery install due to the factory wire being too short

Knew this would happen.

Anyway for others, it is a short run of 4gauge wire which has a terminal at the end.

Easily replaced.
