Swappers weigh in here - 6G Celicas Forums

I have always used the OEM plugs on my swap and haven't had problems until getting the new turbo. I have been getting timing retard fairly regularly. I am considering colder plugs and potentially water injection. I really like the longevity of the OEM plugs though.

Are you other 3s swappers using OEM plugs? Have you had timing retard issues?

I'm on OEM denso's with no issues.

I will return one day.
with the power levels your more than likley seeing jay, id think 1 step colder would be a good idea wink.gif

ive been usint copper ngk's with no issues. i just bought a new set of cheapo bosch that im planing to try out. on the stock turbo, i dont think it really matters all that much, but for you, i think the water injection will really make the difference.
