Hello fellow 6gc'ers!
I've been a bad boyfriend for I did not get my girlfriend a gift, yet. I'm so clueless right now. What should I get my girlfriend for xmas, I know it's a little late...so, any ideas on what to get a girl as a last minute type of deal gift? I was thinking about going to disneyland and getting her a season pass or something but good lord! those thing are like 250 with black out dates.. any suggestion would be appreciated.

about my girlfriend:
she's a girly girl and she has no interest in cars
just a typical girly girl..

Are you crafty at all.. I made My ex a picture frame out of sea-shells.. that I got when we took a trip to the beach for a week. we wnet collecting them, put a picutre of use inside of the frame.. and it looked awsome.. She loved it. oh an some sort of ring ..

I always got my ex jewelry, women love jewelry. One year it was a past present future necklace w/an emerald that I picked out for the center & diamonds before and after. Another year was a tennis bracelet with some emeralds and diamonds, then a Tiffany's ring with an emerald (yes she loved emeralds and they all matched). I got her a coach bag once you can do that, women love bags. Bags and diamonds.

Hey, I got my gf season passes to disneyland. 300 bucks
But if you're really stumped... you can't go wrong with tiffanys or a gift certificate to south coast plaza or something.

Last year I got her a Tanzanite/Diamond ring in white gold, this year, no jewelry for her, I got her (and myself) a cell phone plan.. damn thing cost 400 bucks (Plan, Phones, insurance) but apparently I have excellent credit (who knew? I'm 18!) so I don't have to pay anything of that for 180 days.. boo yah

I really like that coach bag idea.. but I'm no good with bags so I can't really go out a pick a "pretty" one.
Jewelry sounds really good also. right after work I'm going to tiffany's. Would a bracelet be nice?

If you want you can email my girlfriend and ask her, she's a girly girl and she loves bags, tiffanys and all that stuff.. she'll tell you what's hot.

Edit: Forgot to mention... tiffanys around this time of year is hell... just warning you.

how long have you been with her??

I would rather have a weekend get-a-way with my boyfriend than jewlery! thats just me though. i like to travel even if its to a nearby city!

jewlery is nice but im also one of those girls who cant wear anything that isnt gold cuz ill break out in a rash. (lucky guy that gets to date me) haha!


PS I love coach and can help ya pick one out! :-) i have everything coach! 2 pairs of sunglasses, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 purses, 2 make up bags, sunglass carrier, wallet, cd holder for the car, etc. :-) its all real too! i hate that fake ish! got rid of my duffel bag cuz it wasnt real! blah

4 years.. yes, its been a while

I bought her a coach bag about a month back.. so, I might try something new.
I was thinking about getting her some tickets to some theatre show likes phantom of the opera, nut crackers and such.. she'll love that! owwww..i think i just found my gift

wow 4 years together and no engagement ring for another 5 years? hmmm i better have a ring after 3 even if its just an engagement ring and we plan to be engaged for another year or 2 before a wedding.

Me and my girlfriend make two years today. I sent her roses and a 3 foot tall teddy bear to her work. hhaha she is gonna be embarassed. I got her a digital camera with a printer dock for christmas. Yall never talked about what she wanted? My girlfriend tells me what she want lol. Makes it easy on me.

and idk about the whole bag thing. I get attached to one bag, and then i buy it in a few colors and thats it.

I would say my weakness is shoes. Esp shoes with rhinestones... ahh shiny things plus shoes!? ::dances around::



I would say get her jewelry and take her out to dinner, women love to be taken out becuase we get to dress up. It's my favorite!!

I made my gf a little coupon binder with homemade ideas to use as coupons.

Ex: one free night at the movie, or one meal from any local dinner. Just use your own ideas, my gf loved it lol

Just adding some more imput, something that has some thought to it is always nice. I saw this ring a few years ago and i def hinted to my b/f at the time its something pretty



you put her birthstone and yours in, I assume if you go to a jewelry store they could do it there? idk. i found it on zales and i know they have stores around. I HATE last min. shopping!!! grrr

the one in the picture is w/o the names, you can add your names near the birthstone. Just ideas? idk, now im just shopping for me

I bought my gf this ring for our 1 year. Took her to tiffanys and told her to pick something on this side of the room (cheaper side).



I hate beating around the bush... I just tell her to pick what you want... It's better than buying her something and her pretending to like it.

My wife is the same way. I bought her a pair of platinum/diamond earrings once and she still wears them after five years because they don't make her ears itch. I think I paid less than a $100 for the pair after negotiating. Earrings are by far the least expensive jewelry to buy.

This is true, and you have an ugly birthstone.
I would do both diamonds and then put the names, diamonds are better anyway. My ex and I had the same birthstone which could have worked, if he wasn't a lying cheating bastard that is .

whatever gift you decide to get her, get this too: buy some flowers and a DVD of the very first movie you guys saw in the theater. Then you guys can have a romantic night IN, and its cheap. the sentimental value is priceless though

awesome idea about the first movie you saw together! aww itd be even cuter if he had the ticket stub then put it in the plastic part of the dvd cover! hmm ill keep that in mind for my next boyfriend..keep the ticket stub then a while down the line get the dvd. nice idea :-D

eh not too big on flowers myself! nice gesture but id rather have them sent to my work on a random day than for a holiday!
