aight man, you've been slightly misinformed. in no possible way will a catalytic converter and a catback w/ Ti muffler give you 20hp. on a turbo application, you may get 10-15 horsepower, but on an NA engine, something like a catback would give you MAYBE 5, i'd say 3 or less though. as far as the Ti muffler, the only thing that will do for you is save weight, and yea, it'll be a big difference from a stock muffler, but the muffler itself being titanium does not help the performance gain in terms of horsepower. on an engine such as the celica, it would take EXTENSIVE modifications to make 20hp gains. things such as full exhaust, header, CAI, ignition upgrade, fuel mods, somethin such as a S-afc to manage everything, etc.
as for my input, i remember seein somethin somewhere about a CAI for the GT...but i'll have to search for it again...you could also get a hold of John (The EvilspeedToe) on celica.net, he makes custom intakes... and the exhaust, if you're lookin for budget, yeah, i'd make my own, but if you want GReddy, go w/ that...i just don't like how the muffler is painted black, and when you strip it, it's kinda dull...iono...bleh..anywho..i'll get on that CAI thing...
