Hawaii MINI meet? - 6G Celicas Forums

I gotz 2 things my celi and a dream, the prob is commin up with the thrid one...

damn, i was supposed to go to hawaii this weekend with my sister...shes running in the marathon.

yea havin beautiful weather man only prob is that im trying to get a group together out here, but dont know wats goin on maybe i should give it a lil time lolz

well there's me and my friend japonboi. if you look on his profile then he has my pic of my car in there next to his car. i think we are the only two one the island with the gtfour body conversion. there was oreo with the supra taillight conversion but i just heard today that his car got totaled. my friend Sonny has a 6g celica with full veilside kit but he's not registered in 6gc. I can call him anytime. I know there was a grey or gunmetal celica with a vader type kit in waikiki somewhere. I work in waikiki almost everynight. So if you want you can find me at Club Ai between 9:15pm to 2:15am then i can set something up with you. My friend knows some other people with celicas too.

Man when i was in Hawaii for 2 weeks i should have checked for a meet... but I wouldn't have had my car there tongue.gif

ya that wuz me lolz that wuz the first time i had seen a conversionin real life. thoguht it was the real daeal lolz i wuz gettin trippy bu yea ya car looked good though havent seen you in a while downstairs still workin there? im here now my celli gettiin here in jan. Now i get to spend all i want on my baby. Now im here so no more savin up for hawaii. wat ya think aobut makin a little mini chapter in hawaii?

yeah sure. i was there last night. i work some place else but my friends are the valets so if you are looking for me then you can ask them. i usually go there after 2:30 am. Thats the time i finish work.

Is that Hawaiian enough... I live in HI too but I just got my car, everything is all stock and I'm broke from buying it... Just wanted to give a head's up that there's one more person on the forum that lives in Hawaii!

another 808 celica here... mine has some minor mods but nothing as good as a GT4 conversion (which i would love to slap on one day). I was surprised to hear there were two on the island i drive all around and have never seen one.

Mines only comes out on the weekends since it's at home while I dorm at the University. Most likely if you're in town, you'll probably see one of ours lol. Okay laters

If you guys take a picture somewhere really scenic in Hawaii - I would like to see it. Hawaii is so beautiful. I wish I could go there but airfare and such is rediculous from Houston.

I'm down to have a meet in like a few months, i have to slap on some mods... I'm broke right now thats why... But if anyone in HI wants to help me slap some mods then i'm all for it.

If ur in hawaii then i can get some jdm parts. I know some people that can get stuff from japan. I recently just got my rear window visor for about $150. I can get stock toyota parts but toyota won't bring in anymore jdm parts. I deal mainly with quality jdm parts. I don't like cheap generic parts. If anyone is interested let me know.

I got some pics taken at one of the lookouts at tantalus. Very nice scenic points and one of the best places for hairpin turns. Mountain passes are one of the best ways of racing a japanese car! biggrin.gif

i was in kauai in mid january i saw one silver celica i think a 94 and about 10000 acura integras i think if i lived there i wouldnt want the same thing as everyone else but thats just me

Im in hawaii too smile.gif need to get more active on the site thought, my car was down for about a year while we looked for a stock replacement engine. I would be down for a meet up, only thing i got into a fight with this guy. Next day I come to my car and get dents all over the place, like big kine. Never saved up the money to get my car repainted either. Alot of small things I had to do to maintain my car because it was out of commision for so long. But yah I'm from hawaii got a 95 gt dropped rims exhaust intake not alot of mods but if u see me on the road gimme a honk biggrin.gif
