Are these VIS side skirts the same as the stock ones that came optional on our cars?

yes...if u have stock sideskirts, and u want the Zephyr kit then i wouldnt bother gettin the skirts...just get the front lip and rear lip...if they're different in anyway i dont think anybody would be able to tell....but i did hear that VIS zephyr kits have different sideskirts with vents on em but i think u gotta request for them or something...i dunno

no. they are different. they are a little more "edgey" i guess you could say, or "sharper". also, the part in front of the door, and the part behind the door go up onto the body a little more, and the part going down, may go down a tad farther.

they are different. the z-style skirts are based off the dealer-option skirts available only in Japan. they have a extra bit to distinguish them, but the dimensions are basically the same. in other words they are lower than the stock sideskirts you see on us spec celis.

I will tell you now that the VIS skirts are different than what is shown. Here is a pic of what the VIS ones look like

You can get the VIS one from Kuya (Ray) over at Celica.net for under 500,he's a dealer for VIS and can get them cheap. He is a very good guy to deal with. I was quoted just to get my kit fitted painted and installed for 700, but I decided to repaint the whole car at the same time and it is costing me 1800. zigy, yeah it looks good with that kit and it looked good on john's car but he has decided to change directions with the way he wants his car to look.

the 25th annv. was only on the 96's i believe or maybe 97...but anywho you can get side skirts from the dealer for about 189 each...check at the top of this forum and click on JDM PART NUMBERS thread.
