you bought a turbo mr2, and you dont like it? i would think that after owning a car like that you would forget all about the celica
I'm around Celicas and MR2's constantly with the Toyota club I'm in and for some unexplainable reason the MR2's are problematic even with the same engines. The Celicas are always more reliable and last longer.
I think it has something to do with the reason people buy the car and the way they drive them. People buy MR2's to drive fast and tear up the road - people buy Celicas for a variety of reasons so it's pretty easy to pick up someones old grocery getting car that was babied.
My firends Turbo MR2 is has a blown motor with less miles than my 75K which runs beautifully - go figure - one owner Garage kept weekend car. But you have to figure when you only take your fast car out on the weekends my tendency would be to drive it hard.
