does anyone have expreience in using bolt pattern conversion adapters --

found a site that has these adapters --Bolt pattern Conversion


This type of adapter is used for both 5 lug 100 bolt pattern cars to fit 5 lug 4.50" (114.3mm) bolt pattern wheels. CNC machined billet aluminum and thickness options are 1.25". New wheel studs are included.

No experience using bolt pattern conversion... but they're basically the same thing as spacers with a different hub pattern. They'll space out the wheel, and change the stud pattern...

i looked into spacers like that for my car. everyone i talked to had nothing but great things to say about their spacers, so i think you would be just fine with them.

i did remember you looking into that - did you ever get them to get the flush look you were going for -- also if you get new rims with width 8.5 or 9 wouldn't that also give the flush look - but of course i have yet to find any that width with same bolt pattern -

after reading your topic about that - i had started looking at the wheels and thought how nice it would look if the rims were wider

yeah i have yet to buy anything. spacers would be a great thing for me, cause i wouldnt have to buy new rims, but if you are in the market for new rims just get something nice and wider with the correct offset from the begining

ive uses thouse pattern conversions. At my old co-op placement, we did a 94 civic all motor drag car, and we couldnt find any rims we liked/the size we wanted, so we ended up usin a bolt pattern conversion from a 4x100 or 4x114 or w/e it is for civics, to a 5x.114. It worked pretty decently.


EDIT: We used them for about 6 races, then some duche broke into the trailer and stole our front wheels, and damaged the back 2. They ended up goin out n buyin new 4 bolt wheels.
