so tonight i think i came to terms with my self... its either the BEAMS motor or im going to find a 205 front clip.... couple questions and i searched and couldnt find anything....


1. is there anyone in the midwest that is willing to help a brotha out >>
2. is a 205 motor in any way more difficult to swap than a 185?
3. i always hear you guys say buy an extra harness and what not... and it makes sense because i will be driving my car till i have every thing ready to go in, id like to do the whole swap in a couple weekends if possible.... even though i will be doing a tranny swap as well.... Id love to have tweak do it but hes far away >>
4. ive been looking on ebay for a good clip and have yet to find one i think the st205 clip that was up recently was sold or something because im havin a hard time finding it....



I need encouragement, i always back out and i want to follow through with it this time. i think that i will be really happy with my car after im done with this.... so thoughts or questions?

sorry if this seems like a noob post, im not a noob but am when it comes to the whole swaps... ive been online reading swap stuff all day.

2. the st185 has been done and there are writeups everywhere. Word on the grape vine is that the st205 should be almost plug and play. only a couple of people have done it.
3. I used my original harness. Only took about a week to get mine back from DGperformance.
4. Just keep looking one will pop up. just make sure the company is reliable. I went with Jarcoinc.
