Hey everyone, I've wanted to customize lights for a long time. The time has come. As of right now I will be producing a customized light that is a lot cheaper than a JDM light. I can even use your stock lights to save on pricing. The first set will include a black housing, angel eyes, and a polished lense. Prices aren't set yet due to fees, but how appealing is this item? And if you got them, what would you like done to your set? here's a few pics of the black housing itself without a polished lense, but keepin mind the lense will be clear... Would you want the lows done the same way? What is everyones thinking? Criticism is openly accepted. I am looking for ideas.

I'm interested.

How much would you charge to do Angel Eyes?
Within a week I will have the first pair entirely done minus the clear lense. At this point the lenses will be gone and awaiting the work being done. WHen you say fitted... as in the set up, or in the actual car?
I would like to see it on the actual car. Both during the day, and night pics. >smile.gif>

I dont get the point? Just to have a black interior housing or somthing? Am I missing somthing? also are you just getting the lens sanded down like doggy did, when he made his customs?
Yes Doug, they will be "sanded" down, apparently you don't realize how expensive it is. Jen providing a few things go right this weekend, you will see pics on monday >smile.gif>

to figure what the market will bear you need to throw a number out there, based on the responses you need to judge what level of profit you're looking for and how many you're looking to move.

You'll lose customers with a cheap price because it's a cheap product and you'll lose customers with an expensive product. It's your job to find the median. As far as pics go, I would have to see pics of them installed day and night.

People might also not want to low-ball your work so as not to insult you, if you want to break it down into materials cost and labor hours spent I could give you a reasonable figure, but I suppose If I was a good businessman I would keep that to myself to maximize profit...

If you charge more that $103 per side for high beams then jdm is cheaper.

How much are you thinking JDM's are for the highs shipped?
I thought jdms were alot more expensive than that, were are you guys coming up with $206 for both lowbeams for jdms.

thats not too bad, where did you purchase them, toyotaworld?

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
Thats really cool! >biggrin.gif>

I wish I could get mine like that... To late now tho... My front peice of my kit is bolted on in sucha weird way... I woud litterally have to chizzle the thing off cuz we used fiberglass to make it fit more snug and tighter...

But good work! looks awesome! >smile.gif>

his looks different than yours doggy, it looks like he used a completely different material for the black housing.

Dustin, if the lenses are going to be clear, maybe we could just see them fitted w/out lenses?

yeah no problem.... I can do it this weekend most likely.... I will make a finished housing thursday afternoon and get them ready for the car on sunday. But you guys have given no more ideas for customization..... Anything?

does that satisfy everyones needs or do you still want pics with no lense on it period? Thanks for the help Romas
are we talking about the high beams or the lows? because the low beams on doggy's look completely different from any of the ones that dustin posted.

also are you only customizing the highs? or are you doing the lows as well? I guess I'll just have to see the finished project

he's doing the highs right now....potentially he might do lows in the future
Well custom head lamps are always plus to the car, hey Dustin15brown do you mind if I make a suggestion . . . >biggrin.gif>
Yes angel eyes are nice to have when your driving around in Bimmer's
but yet those angel eye rings are type ghetto (The way they light up with 2 L.E.DS at the end or a bright light shining though) unless you spend about $100 ~ $200 getting Phosphyre Halos. ->
user posted image
So why not make an angel eyes with L.E.D it self, looks of the Celcia head lights seems like there is enough space on them to fit about 25 ~ 30 or less L.E.Ds like this ->

It might be more work but I think it's worth the time & the look of the car rather then using those Reg. Angel eyes.
Good Luck >biggrin.gif>
