Almost fell victim to one honda too. The ad was online for a day and then removed. I checked it out too using the free VIN feature on Vin checker sites. The man said it was an EX model. It turned out to be a Dx. It was full of wrong descriptions. I checked the guy's seller ID and he sold some weird ass cars limos for $50K and up too. Kinda fishy when a car goes for 1-3K and they sell "real" cars that they have for 20 times more.
How does he get away with this without getting arrested?

sounds like a solid story to me, i believe him.
actually, you should lead him around a bit. send him an email that says, "Thats great!!! I have family in London!! They can pay you in person, nothing is more secure than that!!! When can you meet up with them to finish the transactoin!" then tell him you'll take care of the shipping, no reason such a generous person selling a nice car so cheap should have to pick up the shipping bill. do it and see what he says

1997 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 15th Anniversary Edition 6 Speed Manual Transmission, is like new.

if that where real he could get 30k easy. not including shipping, and also the emitions lawas in the us are way stricter then the UK he would not have a problem regestring it because of that.
for 5k shipped via air cargo, the shipping he talks about would be more then 5k.

you know we should all e-mail that guy asking for it, and post up the replies, see if they stay the same.
