I honestly think you should spend the money and get an Injen intake. they should make it for your model. But i have one and i like it a lot. But then again doesn't gain to much on Hp at all. Just sounds good.
I looked into the Injen intake...but it's a short ram...so all it would be doing is sucking hot air...and i'm looking for a little more improvement...i found a Cold Air Intake on ebay i purchased...i think it will really improve things!

(the intake cost $130...but it has a K&N filter)

Short ram doesn't always suck in hot air? When i installed mine i noticed a big gain on torque, and getting up to speed faster then before. I wanted a cold air intake before i got the short ram, but then you get into more problems driving in rain. And plus im turboing my car this summer. so i don't wanna waste money on somthing im gonna have to sell anyways.
But ya do waht you wanna do to the car. Its your car.
If you're turboing, a shot ram is best (or so i've heard)...but for my situation...a cai and really the best way to go...it boosts better then a short ram...(if you have a turbo, short ram is what you want though...)...so for my needs...cai is best!

cmon now, i already went through this...ive done all setups! medium length works best, when are yall gonna learn!
You can't be for sure...have you tried every intake on the market?...what did you think of the one i bought? how did it perform?...even if you tried one like this...but it had a 2.5 diameter piping...that would make a difference...so the slightest things can change things...(my piping is 3in.)
