personally i dont mind. im pretty much open to any ideas.

yes, i kno itll be painful. ill have to carry listerine with me every minute of the day for the first week. no hot foods for the first 4 days. chewing ice constantly so it wont swell up right after.

i just want to kno everyones opinion bout it.

ive had mine for a few years, it deffenatly helps in the, uh, well you know what i mean. But dont use listerine, its to powerfull and if you use it all the time it kills all the good bacteria in your mouth and your tongue will actually get more infected. but i say hey, go for it.

whenever I see a guy with a pierced tongue it really disturbs me... but you're obviously not doing it for any guy so as long as you're prepared for the possible side effects go for it.

uh.. my friend got a tongue piercing like < a month ago... (she's 15) and um... she just took it off cause it got infected... my ears get infected enough... i dun wanna see that white puss stuff coming out of my tongue (ack) if it gets infected... however i think lip rings are cool hah

i personally don't like tongue piercings... or nipple rings (shutters) or piercing in the genital area but well... that's just me

I would imagine it to be very hard to chew, drink and do some other stuff with the ring on, especially talking. But hey if you like it then go for it (or your GF). I don't see why you shouldn't do it.

i agree, i wouldnt do it. hell i wouldnt do it for her if thats your only reason, thats stupid in my opinion. i wouldnt suggest to my gf to get her tounge pierced for me. if shes offended that you wont, if you decide not to, she has a problem. but do whatever you want to do.

so you're saying you like to have guys who have piercings at places that only you can see >> eeww... sorry but yea. i personally don't think there's anything wrong with having their toungue pierced. there are people who approves and there will be people who disapproves. i've got a couple of both male and females friends who got their toungue pierced. they couldn't talk right during the swelling period but after that it's all good.

Do it, my tongue was swollen for a day or so and then went back to normal, although when it was swollen I sounded like a douche when I talked.

Facts about tongue rings..... From a piercing / tattoo artist....

1. Tongue piercings were a way for higher class whores to seperate themselves from the lower class ones in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

2. They were / are girl piercings... meant to stimulate the male

3. The piercing is so far back on the tongue that it really does nothing or hardly anything for a girl.

4. If u can't get a girl off on ur own... talk to a lesbian >>
