My First actual wreck - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #29853 25 posts Started by dustin15brown
Well everyone here's the story. I cam home from school to pick up my car and go get my hair cut, that went fine and then I came home to get Neverstop's address to send him some money. Well My dad's jeep was at the end of the driveway and nothing else was there. I hopped in my car and started to back out. Crunch..... I hit something.... I pulled up and looked back and it was my brother's 2004 mustang. Mom had been driving it, and she'd pulled in while I was messing aroundin my car, and already got out. So, it's strictly my fault. I feel like a dumb****... The pics don't show A LOT of damage, but it's considerable..... Dammit, why me? This is 3 total accidents for our family since Friday.
Friday- mom gets blindsided in her Durango, considerable damage
Friday night- I have a dumbass run a red light and about hit me, in turn i turn right and curb my rim >frown.gif>
Tuesday- I back into my brothers 2004 Mustang and mess up my brand new paint job. Why couldn't I have had a wreck before I painted it? Here are some pics.

Think of it as you have just used all your "bumps" for some time. Now it is going to be just nice driving.

Nice one. I thought the rearview mirror came standard on Toyotas. J/K. Sorry to hear about that. That could happen to anyone. I just have a good habit of looking at my rearview when I back out. But I can understand you were in a hurry so don't feel too bad. That sucks. Hope all that stuff gets straightend out quick because I'm a big fan of your car.
That sucks man. Hope you can get stuff all fixed soon.

thats horrible, well at least its better than getting keyed, always easier to know it was your fault rather than some idiot. hope you get it fixed up soon because i love your car!

by the way, i backed up into a dang post about a week ago and cracked my bumper so dont be too hard on yourself, **** happens.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
just remember: it could've been worse knock on wood.
Mistakes happen man, just makes you a better driver.

On a side note...WTF is a 15 year old doing with a 2004 Mustang? >confused.gif>
It's a v6 auto, he wanted it so he took a loan out from my parents to buy it. We have a faimly business type thing, so he works for them to pay them off....
Heh, wow, thats gotta be a big loan. I wont even dream of owning a 2004 anything until like 2010 and then Ill be 26 >smile.gif> I like having a paid off car....its great. May be 10 years old but its more reliable than alot of peoples cars that are half as old.
oh wow hes only 15 and drives already? u gutta be 17 here to atleast have a permit...lol
