dating sucks, After a breakup I just dont want to date at all. I wouldnt mind a relationship but dating is so **** ty. After getting to know someone for so long and then breaking up, you have to go back to square one with getting to know other people and trying to figure out if they dig you or not... that just sucks.

once you grasp the consept that women are always right in their view and that they always know what they want and they always get what they want.. you will be all set for the next relationship. I am not dating anyone period. I had to break up with my lady after 14 years of knowing each other. Alas she chose that other man could be better in the long run and she was wrong. After I found out she been cheating for like 4 years I let her go and no communication and nothing like that afterwards. Problem is her parents are nice people and are very close friends of me and my family.....

I decided not to engage in relationships untill after I greaduate.. and hey man.. this one tagged along then her friend and now both are stalking me without knowing that I dont care for neither.

Being single is alright you can meet lots of girls than. Focus on the car Cars come first.

I stopped try'n along time ago and a girl here and there would come along and such, I think once you stop caring or try'n you'll meet someone nice it happened to me few times. just take it slow.

I totally agree with you. I've been single for a long time, in the beginning i thought it sucked, but it's really not that bad. Besides my car is def more important then some asshole guy who isn't going to stick around anyway. >

i'm not evil.... i'm not one of those stupid selfish girly-girls who needs so much money spent on her all the time, in fact.. my fiance and i have always paid for ourselves unless it's a special occassion, then either one of us... yes it sometimes is me. i can't stand girls who thinks their boyfriend needs to do everything for them, be independant... do something yourself once. maybe it's because i grew up being an only child that makes me this way, i dunno... but i'm happy, he's happy... and i'm definitly not evil! so hah >

Dude, I know EXACTLY how you feel. When you're in a pretty serious relationship that has lasted a while, you feel so comfortable around them and you can do whatever you want without having to worry about them judging you or anything. I have never been the kinda guy who dates around. My last girlfriend, I had plans to propose to her. It's been a month since she broke up with me and not a day has gone by that I don't wish I had her here with me. It's the worst feeling in the world but I just tell myself that this is all a part of gods plan, and that I will be ok. I know it's rough but you've got to hang in there. I made the mistake of just trying too hard to find someone new. People say that you never find someone when you are looking or trying too hard, and most of the time that is true. Just sit back and enjoy the other aspects of your life, such as your family, friends, and hobbies. Everything happens for a reason, I am a FIRM believer of that.

this does help, im not sad or angry, i guess I am just not for small talk. Doesnt it always seem like you like someone but they dont like you in return when meeting new people? haha

I know how you feel, I just broke up with my girlfriend and I'm sad but I know it had to be done just it sucks cause you feel like you're missing a piece of yourself

Okay, a lot of you guys out there said that their car comes before the girlfriend...

Well... Lets just say you and your girl are driven in your car and lets say its pouring down rain, you take a corner to sharply, spin out, ram your car into a tree totalling it... Your girl friend is hurt... You gonna flip out about the car first or wonder if your girlfriend is okay first?

Just curious... Cuz that seems kinda shallow if you ask me... Yeah I love my car too, but if I crashed it and my boyfrind was in the car with me, I sure as hell wouldnt be thinking about my car first...

Dont take it as me being mad about this... im just curious if thats actually how people think...

hey.. i tried this before and erm... it was kinda j/kes.. um.. the girl's bf climbed thro the window into the girl's room and uh... yea...

the whole dating thing isn't that bad... i mean... after a break-up u get all sad and stuff.. but like after a week or a few weeks.. u get over it.. then u realize sometimes being single is good too...

actually... i kinda like the finding a girl part... something about meeting a ton of girls, then all the talking and spending the time to do so much for some girl ur after... it's fun. bcuz (at least for me) a lot of funni stuff happens. and u learn a lot during this process too! hah... but then i guess i'm kinda immature for my age since i would still date girls like 3-4yrs younger than me. hah

but er... if my gf got in a crash in my car... the #1 thing i would make sure is if she's ok.

I think the "car first" thing does not mean in a crash who do you cry about first, I mean even if I hated the person next to me I would still check to see if they where ok. but as far as money goes I understand it. as I have not had a G/F since I got the celica I cant really say it would be more important to me, except that she wont run away with what I have gave here, and she is always up for a long drive when I'm felling down. although I think I would rather have a great g/f then a great car, just because I can talk to a girl, and be respected/apreciated as well.

Meh, I'm a practical fellow. Once the car stops moving, it can't get any more hurt than it already is. On the other hand, the girlfriend could be getting progressively worse. Car's not going anywhere. Girlfriend is potentially going away permanently.

Besides, if the car's pissed off I'm leaving it, at least it'll know I'm spending a load of time/money on fixing it, while the GF I can't really do anything for once she's in the hands of the doctors.

And yes, I'm open to the possibility a car has some sort of spirit. I'm not arrogant enough to think I know for certain one way or the other. And it would certainly explain some of the things that have gone wrong -- or gone right when they shouldn't have.

a car is some peoples pride and joy I almost cried when my mid spoiler on my mirage clipped a low give way sign and took a chip out of the mid spoiler late next year i'm getting a celica.
