Hey i'm looking into getting a shortshifter, i know TRD makes one, but it's kinda pricey. There's also one out by TWM Performance (link in the links section) that's less expensive. Anybody have that one? How is it? How does it look/any pics??

I heard that they're both about the same. The TRD quick shifter comes with the whole assembly though, so it's easier to install, and it also comes with a nice leather TRD shift knob.

So is it worth the extra 70 bucks or so to go TRD?

I have a TWM shifter and couldn't be happier with it. I bought it before the price increase so it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the TRD shifter. The install wasn't a big drama either.

If your after the TWM shifter, look at modacar.com. I think its cheaper there than at TWM.
