Hi My name is Dean I'm 19 years old and I live in Auckland New Zealand I really like celicas I like the shape I don't currently own a celica would like to next year I own a 1990 Mitsubishi Mirage Super Swift R it's a rare mirage but it's a mitsi and it has cost me a fortune first the cambelt broke resulting in a new engine cost $2500 than 1 week later the auto transmission started to leak cost $1470.60 I owe my parents the cost of the car and the repairs I wish I had a celica my dad sold his mitsubishi and bought a toyota echo (yaris) the mirage cost $3500 it has roofrust and it's paint isn't good can't wait till I buy a SSII. Are celica Automatics good and reliable coz I don't want the transmission to break like the mirage's one did. >

Hey welcome to the site. Any Celica you get will be more reliable than what you have now, STs (the smaller engine) probably being a bit more reliable than a GT. An auto celica is generally slower than a manual, and personally i think 5spds are funnner.
in new zealand we have japanese import celicas I can only drive autos as I have an auto only restricted licence can't wait to sit my full licence.

i would agree.. i have just sold my 5th gen to my sister because i now have a 6th gen. but the car now has over 400,000 kms on it and is still running great! in fact, it's even quicker than my other sister's 6th gen GT. anyway, toyota engines are known to last...

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

There is a silver celica 6th gen parked over at the reserve over the road from my house in new zealand we have heaps of them have seen 2 silver ones today silver is the most popular colour I want to get a red one as there is not many red ones around I don't want to get a black one as I own a black car now it shows all the dents, dirt, and scratches.
