Hey you know that big box we have at the end of the stock intake at the bottom. well it is there to catch water and dirt right? does anybody think that taking it off or cutting a large hole in it would increase performance? do we really need it? I am thinking about hooking up my stock intake again and want to leave this out.

actually your pretty far off...

the boxes in the driverside fender are resonators to quiet the intake they really don't do anything...
yes you can take it off if you want it doesn't affect it at all....

so thats the big box below thats almost as big as the filter? i thought there was more to it. waste of space. thanx
