k so i have the greddy sp2 exhuast. when it was first installed it made this loud/raspy/annoying/ricey sound that came from directly underneath my door-center of car. i went and asked what that noise was and they said i needed an exhuast gasket. so i bought one and the problem was solved...that is, up until today when that same noise started up again. does anyone know what the problem is or what i can do? any suggestions will help thanks

sounds like u just have an exhaust leak coming from one of the flanges. double check the new gasket and put some RTV or some type of sealent on their.

When exactly does the problem happen? When you start the car...going 20 mph...30... etc.

I have the SP2 as well and installed it with what they gave me with the muffler kit. I've had no strange noises so far...

This problem happens the whole time the car is on. From when i start the car to accelerating..it lightens while idle but gets loud while accelerating.

Sounds like you didnt get the gasket on right. Re-fit it, or buy a new one and see if it fixes it.

Cat converter? Possibly the honey comb is busted?
