I think all of the C5x boxes are essentially the same... and the diffs will interchange between all of them... however... phantom grip is not a real LSD. It works sort of like a locking diff... There are LSD's available out there for the C50/C52 trannies. I believe the C56's came with a factory LSD option... so that's a viable choice also. I personally wouldn't look to phantom grip...

Do NOT get a Phantom Grip, it's a sad excuse for an LSD. Anyone I know that has used them have ended up with broken trannys.

You can get a Quaife for the C52. I think they list it for the AE92 Corolla GTS (which had the C52).

The Quaife is TEH HAWTNESS!!!

you've put so much money into you car, don't skimp on a LSD.
There's a reason they're $300.

about 1300 man you gotta pay to play well i'm kinda stuck for the moment on what to do i dont have the money for that lsd and the whole tranny swap is well documented whats the strongest gear box

The 4AGZE's E51/E53 are by far the strongest... however these trannies mount differently and have different axles than the C52. The E51 (open diff) are found in the supercharged AW11 MR2's and JDM Supercharged AE92 Sprinter Trueno/Levin. The E53 (with factory LSD) are found in the later model JDM AE92 Sprinter Trueno/Levin and the JDM AE101 Levins...

If you were to go this route... you'd need an E51/E53 flywheel, clutch, axles, and mounts... I can't say on the shift linkages, the hydraulics, or anything else...

theres a problem right there 4ag 8 bolt the 7af crank 6 bolt
starter problems maybe

things i'll need beefer axels ,lsd , tranny needs to handel 5-600 crank horse

hey doggy you beefed up your box what all did they do to it? and what do you think it can handel?
