The other day I uncovered the Celica and gave her a bath. She hasn't been out that much this year (trying to keep the miles off her). She loved it. She was all shiny and sparkling, so I decided to drive her to school. I parked her in the back of the parking lot away from everybody like I always do. I don't like people parking beside her. So anyway. I went inside and was working on a couple cars at school ( I go to Wyotech - an autobody school) and the next thing I know, I hear someone calling my name. My buddy from another class came over and told me someone hit my baby. Well my heart dropped and I ran outside to look at her. This idiot in an MX6 apparently didn't put his car in gear when he parked it (his parking brake doesn't work). He walked all the way back into the building and his car decided to roll about 30 feet into the back of the celica. Of all the cars in the parking lot, he had to hit mine. I think I have figured out that the more you take care of a car, the more likely someone will mess it up. I drive a Saab everyday, and that car has never been hit. I never take care of it either. I think I have washed it once this year. The celica has gotten hit twice in the back bumper in two years. So anyway, I had the damage to the celica estimated at $1200. At least I will get another veiside bumper out of the deal and I'm getting paid 45 dollars an hour to fix my own car by his insurance company. Any way, enough rambling her are the pics:

That sucks. I was sitting in a parking lot yesterday after I spent 4 hours on my exterior and was so paranoid a car door would hit my door or a shopping cart would roll into my car. I can imagine how much it sucks when an actual car rolls into your car. Good luck with the repairs.

ouch dude. that sucks..i know how it feels. When i go 2 school next month im gonna park my celi on the like furthest spot away from the door. Theres a guy who goes 2 the college im goin 2 with a mkiii supra thats like a full show car, hez got a picture of his own car airbrushed on his roof, airbrushed along the sides..and the guy parks in the closest spot to the doors. I think hez kinda stupid.

that happend at my job , some guy with a vette parked all the way in the back to avoid any door dings , and someone with a jetta didnt put on thier break and it rolled into the vette. thats one of those things like when you are trying very hard to walk quietly and then you step on something that makes a lot of noise.

Yea she knows. She took it better than I thought she would. we are going to the next meet. Can't wait to see all of you guys again. We have been so busy lately. Megan got a new job with Fed EX and I go to two schools right now.

man that sucks... someone just did a hit and run on my fender and the bad thing is i dont know who did it

i dont relly know what campus he goes to but he just started and hes in pennsylvania

He is on my campus then. There is only one campus in Pennsylvania. I only have a month and a half left til I graduate.

you're in wyotech? do you know a dude people call him Bunta / steven? he's in wyotech too. btw. he was telling me bout another 6gc which did a AWD conversion and 3sgte swap over there

I haven't heard of that celica. There are only two other 6 gens that I know of at Wyotech and they are pretty much stock. I think the one kid just sold his for a Trans am. I'll be checking into that. Are you sure it was the Pennsylvania campus?

Washing car and having it damaged is bad.

Try getting it back from the shop on Friday after getting it repainted and all the dings/dents repaired...to have it be dinged in the door on Tuesday. And then again, the next Tuesday.
