For those of you who don't already know. Japan released a new patch for the PSP that allows the PSPs to access the internet wirelessly if there's a wireless connection available. This patch is not recommended for PSPs released in the states but I installed it anyways...The US patch is going to be released around NOV. I think. Anyways, check it out.



It's surprisingly really fast, with very little loading time. I was able to browse the internet just like using my computer. >>

how hard is it to use? joystick?

i had a psp back when they first came out but too it back cause i wasnt sure if it would do well. Has the dead pixel issue been resolved yet?

Yea, you use the little Joystick thing as a mouse, and the directional buttons to scroll up and down the page. I wouldn't say it's easy, but it's not that hard, just takes a little getting used to. You gotta type every letter one by one like a cell phone.

damn... i shouldn't have installed that patch cuz now i can't play any of my emulators (SNES being my main one).. oh well, i guess i'll just have to deal with it. is there anyway to go back?

damn shouldn't have gave my to my little cousin last week .. but then again i never took it out of the box..

is there any way to use the psp for ecu tuning like a laptop or like what the GB advance can do?

Oh yeah, forgot to warn you guys downloading emulators and roms to the PSP, once you update to the new patch you wont be able to use emulators on the PSP. Thus far, I'm not sure how to revert the patch, I don't think you can. Sorry! >>

i went through wipeout pure >> another good tweak.. also windows media player int he works on my psp
